Everyone wants to maintain a positive image, either at work or with people around them, especially with social media where criticism easily thrives. If maintaining a positive image forces you to be somebody you are not, then it’s better to stop pretending. Not everybody is going to like you anyway.

If there is someone whom you need to make sure likes you, it’s yourself and no one else.

Do not forget that your value does not increase or decrease based on what others say about you. Stop looking for validation from other people and letting them control you. Be the person who knows their worth.
