Being shy can be due to multiple reasons. It could be self-consciousness, social anxiety, or just being uncomfortable around social gatherings. Shyness really isn’t bad! It’s not a threat against others and even allows people to be warm and understanding towards you.

If you would like to grow out of your shyness, start coming out of your shell and do more things outside your comfort zone. You can start attending improv or acting classes and being more sociable in gatherings.

Being shy shouldn’t limit you from what you want to do. In fact, you can use it as a superpower to make other people feel warm and welcome. Practice facing your shyness and you will achieve great results.
