Is There Life After Death When You Die?
Is there life after death?
Where do we go after we die?
These two questions have been asked across several millennia. Almost every time a new religion flourishes, a new explanation about what happens after people die surfaces.
The major religions of the world, Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, and Buddhism, all believe that there is life after death. Then, there are those who remain skeptical about the existence of another dimension, or other realms beyond this physical world we are currently aware of.
What Is Reincarnation?
Science has been actively seeking to find logic behind the still largely mysterious concepts of living past lives, or life after death, along with the existence of angels, spirit guides, and heaven and hell.
At the middle ground, standing between the believers and the skeptics is Albert Einstein’s Law of Conservation of Energy, which states that: “Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. It can only be converted from one form to another”.
So, when a person dies, where does that energy, this “essence”, so-to-speak, inside a person go?
As far as afterlife is concerned, Einstein’s Law of Conservation Energy is the best scientific explanation for continuing existence after death. His law makes it clear that energy survives death — but could there be more?
Some people argue that consciousness survives death too and this is one of the principles underlying reincarnation.
For those raised in a Christian upbringing, death segregates the good who go to heaven and the bad who go to hell.
The concept of reincarnation, however, is much more complicated. Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines ‘Reincarnation’ as “the rebirth in new bodies or forms of life; especially: a rebirth of a soul in a new human body”.
Why Do We Reincarnate?
The dictionary definition, however, is only partly true. The bigger question now is, “Why do we reincarnate?
Reincarnation is the process of purifying the soul, lifetime after lifetime. To prepare it, make it worthy of transcendence, and move on to the realm of the spirits.
Only by gaining wisdom and learning life’s lessons can our souls attain a place in that spiritual dimension.
We keep being reborn in the physical realm for the purpose of correcting our mistakes and accomplishing our spiritual missions, until such time that we achieve perfection of our soul.
Living in the physical realm makes us vulnerable to conflicts such as, sadness and happiness, richness and scarcity, health and sickness, life and death.
All of which are just illusions, kind of like entering a virtual reality where you have the free will to choose how you play the game – and how you end it.
Until you carry out your mission correctly and learn the lessons you need to learn, only then will you be able to escape reincarnation — the cycling and recycling of souls in the physical realm — and move up to the next level, which is on the higher spiritual planes.
The ultimate lesson that we all need to learn in the physical world is to detach ourselves from the greed of the materialistic world.
Everything that we value in this world: money, power, recognition, intelligence, and even physical existence itself, do not have any value in the spiritual realm, where our souls naturally yearn to be.

So, What Happens When We Die?
When we die, our souls leave our bodies. And as much as this is hard for some people to grasp, who do not believe anything beyond this world exists, that’s what’s real.
I have personally validated that there is life after death when I saw a dying man leave his body and then get escorted by his angels. To know more about this incident, please see my article, “I saw a man die — and this is what I saw”
Consistent with reincarnation, death parts our immortal soul from our temporary bodies. Once we lose our bodies, we evaluate the life we lived, which includes both the lifetime that just passed and all the past lives that we lived.
It is the day of reckoning when we find out if we have a surplus of good, or a surplus of bad, in our karma. Karma, along with the desire to be reincarnated back on the physical realm, determines whether or not we will have a comfortable life.
When our souls lose their bodies, our souls rest until such time that it is ready to re-enter the physical world again to continue on its spiritual journey.
This cycle goes on for a limitless number of lifetimes, until such time that a person reaches a state of Nirvana.
Why Should You Want To Escape The Physical Realm?
Our souls have a common goal, and that is to move on to life in the spiritual realms. The overarching prerequisite is to escape the cycle of birth and rebirth. Achieving Nirvana, or enlightenment, is the only way to end this cycle, and the human sufferings that go hand-in-hand with life in the physical world.
Our life’s purpose is purification of the soul — and that cannot be achieved in a single lifetime, but rather over several lifetimes.
Escaping life in the physical realm raises our wisdom a notch higher, but even in the Spirit World, there is a hierarchy of more lessons to be learned.
As a psychic medium, I can walk you through what happens to our souls after death and why you must not fear it.
